It was early March, and my Spring Fever was gaining momentum when I was invited to join a tour led by Roger Manley (Director of the Gregg Museum @ NC State University). Not just any tour, but a custom agenda to remarkable sites to see unique garden art.
1) - Clyde Jones' residence (a self-taught yard-art artist extraordinaire)
2) - NC Botanical Gardens (lunch, botanical tour, and Patrick Dougherty sculpture)
3) - the "Uncommon Garden" (I call it the Enchanted Garden....and it was an invitation-only kinda thing).
