On a Sunday afternoon, my hosts drove me through the countryside to see our friend Ludmila at her Center for Migrants. She had us accompany her to take some travelers to the station (and authorities don't get in her way!). “Photograph anyone you want; you are with me, they will not mind. This is my community and I want better for them”.
